We serve in university communities across America where COM staff and volunteers impact the lives of thousands of Chinese students and scholars each year.

China Outreach Ministries is a Christian mission organization which focuses on Giving Christ to China’s Future Leaders (i.e. current university students, research scholars, and professionals) at universities and research centers, by:

• Sharing Christ’s love and truth with Chinese scholars and researchers at universities in America


• Developing caring relationships that open doors to sharing the Gospel with Chinese students and scholars


• Leading them to faith in Christ


• Discipling, training, and mentoring them in Christian faith


• Preparing and positioning them to be multiplying Christian leaders

Each year thousands of Chinese students and scholars are introduced to the gospel through COM ministry on university campuses. As many become followers of Jesus, we walk alongside them, equipping them to live out their faith in their families, communities, and professions. Each year, COM sends transformed Christian leaders back to China, prepared and committed to being ambassadors of the gospel for their own people and culture.

China Outreach Ministries is an incorporated, nonprofit organization committed to the historic evangelical Christian faith. COM works cooperatively with a variety of ministries and churches to serve the whole body of Christ and is not officially connected to a particular church or denomination.

China Outreach Ministries (COM) staff reach out to Chinese students and scholars in university communities across the United States, helping them adapt to life in America and introducing them to Jesus.

• We offer hospitality, social activities, conversational English, and a variety of practical services to help Chinese students and scholars succeed. 
• As we build friendships, we share Christ and offer Bible studies. 
• We mentor and disciple those who come to Christ and, working with local churches and ministries as much as possible, help believers who return to China become Christ-like leaders for their families, communities, and professions.

• The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
• That there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
• That for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
• In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
• In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of separation from God.
• In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

• Christ-likeness: We intentionally seek to become more like Christ, surrendering to Him daily to live and serve as He desires.
• Cooperation: We collaborate with like-minded individuals, organizations and churches, encouraging Americans and Chinese to work together.
• Relationships: We develop friendships and trust with Chinese students and scholars, co-workers, and ministry partners through authentic, caring relationships.
• Initiative: We take personal initiative, holding ourselves accountable to grow personally and minister effectively using diverse gifts and proven methods.
• Balance: We work diligently to accomplish our mission and vision while taking sufficient time for rest, family, and spiritual and personal development.

President: Daniel has served as President of China Outreach Ministries since the spring of 2017. Before assuming this role, he spent many years serving with COM in various capacities, including campus staff member, Area Director, Special Assistant to the President, Executive Vice President, and board member. Prior to returning to serve with COM, he played a key leadership role in planting and pastoring a church in the Houston area for seven years, where he had the joy of baptizing many new believers each year. Daniel came to know Christ through China's house church movement and is bilingual. He earned his degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 1991. He and his wife Beth have two young adult children.

Director of Campus Ministry: Glenn Kenadjian has served with COM since 1994. He has a BS in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MA in Philosophy of Religion from Trinity International University. In addition to his role as Director of Campus Ministry, Glenn also serves as COM Training Director and engages in personal ministry with Chinese students and scholars at the University of Central Florida.

Director of Development: Kirk Zuercher joined the staff of China Outreach Ministries in 2010 after working for 20 years in the corporate world. In addition to his development role, he serves as Area Director for the Southeast. Kirk has a BA in Accounting and Business Administration from Trevecca Nazarene University. Kirk joined the COM leadership team in 2019 after serving as a campus staff member in Pennsylvania for eight years.

Human Resources Administrator and Director of Mobilization: Jesse Burns is strongly gifted in administration, and he has a passion for serving COM missionaries and staff. Jesse joined COM in 2016 after a 28-year career in business management. His broad educational background includes international studies in Russia, England, and Switzerland in association with the International Business Institute and Messiah University in Pennsylvania.
